“No point to stay here. Lots of seaweeds, it's impossible to swim and snorkeling isn't great either. On top of that the food options are limited and disgusting and the owner is as nice as a kick in the arse. Do yourself a favor: spend a bit more and get a room in West Bay.”

“Absolutely — this keeps the important specifics without feeling like a long complaint. We had a mixed but overall relaxing stay at Media Luna. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the pool area was well maintained. The beach is small, but the snorkeling right off the beach was surprisingly great and one of our favorite things about the resort. “I stayed here for one night as a solo female traveller before taking the ferry the next day over to Utila Island for two weeks. The place was beautiful with an amazing view right on the beach, the staff was friendly and helped me arrange my ferry transportation, and the breakfast was yummy! You won’t be disappointed, especially if you are looking for a place that’s close to the airport or the ferry terminal.”
