“Our recent visit to Veranda Resort Hotel was a last minute decision based on an unplanned trip to Roatan. However, we were lucky to find very affordable rates through Travelocity, which proved to be a steal. What we found was an amazing 5 star accomodations that began with our check-in, assisted by a young lady named Sam, followed up by dinner, and a personable staff, headed by the Manager Hector, who introduced us to several local drink options, and his staff. “No point to stay here. Lots of seaweeds, it's impossible to swim and snorkeling isn't great either. On top of that the food options are limited and disgusting and the owner is as nice as a kick in the arse. Do yourself a favor: spend a bit more and get a room in West Bay.”
