Inn a Rochester

“The staff are very helpful and parking behind pub very good. . Food to a high standard. Room was very comfortable with a large shower as requested. I am unable to use a bath so requested a shower due to my lack of mobility. The room had tea and coffee facilities and towels, robes and slippers BUT the bed, although comfortable, was extremely low. Apparently all the beds are the same height according to a member of staff. It caused a real problem in the night as I had to wake my husband twice...

“The room is beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Helpful staff and was able to hire us a car to pick us up at the train station. Great breakfast and dinner, highly recommended. ”

“Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”

“Clean, comfortable colonial, yet contemporary style, dog friendly accommodation, provided by the Woolpack Inn. Located a short drive from Canterbury, with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. A great breakfast selection, included in the price. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit this part of Kent.”

“Enjoyed a stay for three days. Staff very willing and helpful. Excellent food. Enjoyed the different areas especially the beer garden when it was warm. Was woken by the kitchen extract fan at 6am, which probably was due to the secondary double glazing not fitting correctly. Needs some maintenance.”

“The check in process was a bit odd. Was being asked about when I booked and other weird details when I had the booking confirmation in front of me and the booking name etc. The room was absolutely fine, the bed was so comfy, the shower was nice and hot and spacious, there was air con which was an absolute godsend. The music from downstairs wasn’t too loud so didn’t need the ear buds but nice touch! All in all a very good cheap stay! Would be perfect if you didn’t hear people opening and closing...

“For the price and size of the double room was brilliant. Bathroom could do with a bit of tlc and some plug sockets in the bedroom were either not working or of low power.”
