“We had an easy time checking in and the room was clean upon arrival. There was a smell on the floor that we stayed in, but it wasn’t consistent throughout the hotel. Breakfast area was clean and restocked consistently. We would have preferred longer breakfast hours.”

“Great location, lots of history and character, and we enjoyed our stay overall. We had a room in the carriage house, and had a few issues with the TV not working, and the upstairs neighbor arriving and making plenty of noise at 1-2am, but the beds are comfy and the restaurant is excellent!”

“We had a 2 bed room (I thought queen but seemed more like double). It was shockingly small- to the point that even though there was a luggage rack, there was not one spot in the room where I could set it up and leave my suitcase. I tried to put my daughter's suitcase (closed, standing up) between the bed and the wall on her side and it didn't fit. I couldn't turn around without knocking things over.
We had no curtains! There were tracks and pull rods but nothing attached. We had to use the...

“This was the 2nd time we stayed here. We came I believe April & this time again in same exact room. The April stay, the room was very clean. Only complaint at the time was no bathroom fan. This time around, still,no fan in bathroom. It’s a handicap accessible room, which was very well equipped on our first stay. Now, it appears to have several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Bathroom smelled badly. Quite disappointing this time around.”

“Our two King rooms were 212 and 214,built into a sort of cove, which I think restricted the overall space of a King suite. Each "room was actually 2 small rooms, one with a fold out couch, TV and cabinet, the other was a king bed, TV and cabinet. A single open doorway connected the two, and shared the bathroom with to king bed room. No double king beds, and overall felt fairly tight. But very nice anyway.”

“Hot tub not hot and bubbler didn't work. Pool room had about 3 chairs, no tables, had a high pitched squeal/mechanical whine that drove one to insanity, pool room restroom out of order, rusty and dirty. Extremely disappointing that after after enjoying walking in Portland, state parks and waterfront are the main reasons for tourism, there was not a hot tub for the body to recover.
