“We had an amazing weekend at the Fish and Anchor Inn and highly recommended it to anyone looking for a relaxed and value for money getaway while visiting Stratford or the Cotswolds. As it's an inn we checked in at the bar, then accessed the room via a separate entrance at the rear of the pub. The pub does karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, and the patrons are very welcoming. Our room, no. 6, was amazingly large and inviting, and we loved the firm bed mattress. As mentioned in the hotel...

“They thought of every detail for the room. It was beautiful! And it was so nice to have treats and drinks waiting for us in our room after a long day of travel. “sistemazione carina a pochi passi dal centro del villaggio, si può anche mangiare qualcosa nel pub di sotto e c'è anche una parte fuori nel retro dove si può stare tranquilli anche fino a tarda sera, il parcheggio purtroppo è piccolino e devi mettere l'auto un po più lontano, anche la camera è molto piccola, ma per la spesa fatta va bene!”

“La camera si trova sopra il pub in una via in pieno centro storico. Per il prezzo pagato è sicuramente un’ottima sistemazione, usciti dalla porta siete subito sulla via principale dei negozi e ristoranti e a pochi passi dalla casa di Shakespeare. Il letto è comodo , il bagno privato decente e avete la macchina del caffè/tè a vostra disposizione. Il parcheggio coperto è a un minuto dalla struttura ed ha un prezzo accettabile rispetto ai parcheggi inglesi”

“We had a lovely stay Lucy greeted us for check-in which was swift and efficient. Very friendly approach The room was very clean and tidy with plenty of coffee etc to choose from which was replenished every day Nothing was too much trouble The breakfasts were very good and cooked well We would definitely return when we go back to Stratford .”

“Best place we ever stayed at during this trip. The Manger room was fantastic and a good value. Wayne, the host was very accommodating and had lots of info on the local area. The pub across the street was wonderful as well. Only nit is that the front made noise every time the wind blew. I suggest weatherstripping so it doesnt rattle. Nevertheless it deserves the 10 out of 10 rating it has on Expedia ”

“Were a couple who stayed for one night to attend a concert at Warwick Castle. David was friendly and welcoming on arrival and showed us to Room 4. The room was tastefully decorated, clean and welcoming with good ensuite. The attention to detail was fabulous, fan, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee maker, kettle, various hot beverage options and breakfast was delivered to your door at a time convenient to us. We would 100% book to stay here again - What a find and would highly recommend to anyone...

Steve and Lizzy are super friendly and accommodating - both really kind and helpful sharing info about the local area, and Lizzy made such a lovely homemade breakfast, even catering for me as a vegan, and surprised my partner with a delightful banana blueberry muffin complete with a candle for his birthday - it was above and beyond! “Service impeccable. Bill was such a lovely host. So helpful and passionate about letting us know what to do in the area. Offered us home made biscuits and coffee when we arrived, even though we were a bit early. The room was large and clean with a nice bathroom and coffee/tea in the room too. Breakfast was wonderful also. A short walk into town, maybe 15 minutes if that. Would highly recommend this to anyone. ”

"Sono stata in questo hotel per lavoro per tre notti. Solitamente scelgo il Leonardo in Europa come catena di hotel in quanto mi trovo benissimo con le stanze ed il servizio. La posizione non è male, essendo situato abbastanza in centro ma questo hotel non è stato per nulla come gli altri Leonardo in cui sono stata. Le stanze sono piccole e per arrivarci ci vuole molto tempo in quanto non so che succede con i quattro ascensori ma si creano code per aspettarli. Inoltre la cosa più deludente è stata il servizio ho chiesto due sere di fila la colazione d’asporto ed entrambe le mattine si sono dimenticati o non lo hanno scritto. La colazione inoltre rispetto altri altri Leonardo non ha molte opzioni senza lattosio e senza glutine sebbene i camerieri siano gentili. In sintesi non ritornerei in questo hotel visto il servizio."
