“What a lovely place and great staff! I can’t get across how friendly, welcoming and quaint this stay was. (Lovely pub around the corner, the Pug Inn).”

“Overall the room is clean and tidy. The shower is slightly moldy and some other resident of the guesthouse may sometime block the entrance of the inner car park. It would be great if the guesthouse could put more clear sign to ask people park at the inner car park instead of the outer one.”

I stopped during the recent heatwave and was pleased I had packed my mini travel fan as my room had the sun in the afternoon, usually this would have been a treat, just not on this occasion. My room was on the ground floor and initially I thought, that’s no problem… except the windows face the garden and communal outside seating, so make sure you close the curtains to spare any blushes.. “Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten eine gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war ruhig in Richtung Garten. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar.”
