River Ridge Retreat is perfectly positioned with Marsden Cove Marina just a short drive away, providing safe boat launching. The nearby Ruakākā Town Centre offers a supermarket and a variety of stores. Plus, with a private track leading directly to the river, there’s no need to load the kids and gear into the car to go to the beach – you can simply walk down for a swim.

Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking. As there is a section of the bank that has unfenced access to the river, guests should closely supervise young children when outside to ensure they are safe around water.There are life-jackets available to use with the paddleboards but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety.
