Hotel a Rumsey

“Spark is an easy, no frills place to stay for an overnight stay. Esmee at the front desk was sweet and helpful. The room was clean and fit our needs. My only complaint is "No Elevator". The first floor rooms were full so our only option was the second floor. It was very hot and lugging our cases up wasn't pleasant.”

“This is not a fancy-schmancy hotel but it was perfect for a birder on a budget and had everything I needed at half the price of the place up the street. Well, almost everything - a blow dryer would have made it perfect! The check-in dude was funny and helpful and there's an EV charging station just down the street so I'd definitely stay here again. But think about adding blow dryers. Even birders like to look their best!”

“The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were comfortably firm. The adjacent restaurant/lounge had delicious pizza and the attached store was quaint.”

“Okay so. Staff were kind and friendly so I was conflicted when writing this review. I reserved 2 rooms. 1 was fine but the other smelled like mildew. We kept the bathroom fan running and the window ajar but couldn’t escape the odor. Possible the room was closed up after shampooing carpets, not sure. The bathroom did appear to have mildew along the floor at bathtub. I’m sure they would have given us a new room and in reflection, I’m not sure why I didn’t ask. Prob tired from the trip. “Amazing place to stay.The only thing is that it is really hard to carry our stuff to our hut/tent. Cars should be allowed drop off luggage to the tents. I can't imagine older people staying here, OR atleast offer golf carts to bring stuff to the tents. Other than that, me enjoyed our stay and loved the pool”
