“I had to make a last-minute booking for work and stayed here. I met the owner—his name was Mony (pronounced Moony, I believe). I was late checking in, but he took great care of me. He gave me a tour of the property and let me sit and chat in the bar as he was closing.
This bar/hotel is very, very cool. I can’t recommend it enough for people passing through on road trips or bike trips. They have live music regularly and a beautiful patio out back. I will absolutely make a point to come back here...

“Staff were friendly and helpful. Historical tour was amazing. Bistro was nice. I had a room with a private washroom, which makes a huge difference. After hours checkin was easy. I will visit again as long as I can book a room with a private washroom. Adjacent store, winery, vegetable markets and orchards are all wonderful. Lots of history and an evolving area.”

“Everyone was so attentive, polite, and bilingual and happy to take care of anything you needed or answer your questions. Fab food and service!! Great venue for a wedding or special occasion. I would suggest they continue to discourage the geese from taking over the property as it was difficult to dodge the numerous droppings on all the walkways and lawn.”
