“The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and efficient, the food was freshly cooked, hot and tasty although the chips too greasy for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the hake, The room was very clean but unfortunately I struggled to sleep in the heat with no air conditioning or even a fan”

“Una esperienza diversa. Una struttura d'epoca a poche centinaia di mesi dalla Cattedrale, rimodernata ma che conserva intatte le caratteristiche originali. Siamo entrati attraverso il pub e ci siamo "arrampicati" su una scala di legno fino al terzo piano (senza ascensore). “This was an amazing experience! These people have been doing this for 40 years, and have it down! Hospitality is second nature to them! Everything was lovely! They gave us the family suite so we wouldn’t have to bring our luggage upstairs. Hilary made the most perfect breakfast and it was so lovely to chat with her. Highly recommend this place for home away from home! Definitely going back again!”

“Did not have breakfast, but evening meal was good. Room was okay but for the three nights we stayed we didn’t get bed made or tea/coffee replenished or the small bin emptied. As for the noise from people using rooms above us it was a nightmare (do not choose room 3) Was not impressed ”
