Great position, price/services too high.
Small room, price relatively high. Great position, close to Union Square and Chinatown. No space in the lobby. No restaurant, only breakfast available (no buffet, quite expensive the menu)

I had an excellent stay with the Orchard Garden Hotel. The reception staff Sandy and Min Yi were helpful during my stay. Zach the Reception Mshsger was particularly helpful when I had a last minute change to my booking. Hotel is near Chinatown and highly recommended.

Had a great two night stay. Spacious, clean and functional room and the Reception staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit pricey for us so we went to Starbucks across the road both mornings, bringing it back to eat on the hotels roof terrace with views across the city.

Orchard garden staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The amenities were extremely clean and up to date. The area is right next to china town, downtown, oracle park which made it easy to walk or Uber. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is close to downtown and right by Chinatown. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are nice touches such as filtered water filling stations. There are other green practices as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

Our stay was mostly good. The staff was incredible. The location is great, there are so many dining options, and Chinatown's entrance is right next door. Union Square is right around the corner and you're a short walk from the Ferry Building. The hotel is quiet though a lot is happening right outside. My only complaint would be the "eco-friendly" part of the hotel. The shower pressure is lame and feels like it's spitting water at you. Having thick hair and washing it was a pain. And the fact that you keep your key in the slot to keep the lights and AC on was slightly annoying. The TV in our room didn't work with live TV and casting from our phones was a pain. But to the staff's credit, they comped our breakfast one morning since they couldn't fix it. And their breakfast was delicious, so all was good there.

This was the perfect place to stay for a our short trip to SF. Convenient to walk or take transportation to sightseeing. Staff was friendly and breakfast delicious. Not super fancy but suited us perfectly. Best part is the hotel is quiet and comfortable right in the city centre at a good price.

The communication with some of the staff was awful. The staff did not seem knowledgeable about the hotel, I had to speak to multiple people to get the correct information, and the staff did not give out important details that significantly affected our arrival. We booked a standard room which was very small and the mattress was low quality and uncomfortable. We were upgraded to a suite on the second day of our stay and the mattress was much better. I appreciated the response from the management which improved our hotel experience.

We read lots of reviews on lots of hotels before settling on Orchard Garden. Their reviews were glowing and now we can certify they were all true. Enjoyed our comfortable, clean and well maintained room for 7 days. Housekeeping and front desk staff were excellent. Hotel breakfast was great. Easy place to navigate to Muni and Bart. It seemed like everything we needed was nearby.
