“Wonderful mansion. Very appreciated complimentary wine tasting and mansion visit. Room with spa bathtub was very big and fitted two in the tub but didn’t have a hair dryer. The room service was meant to be till 10pm but at 9.17pm they answered that because it was winter they had already closed the kitchen and kindly made 2 toasts and an ice cream. It would have been nicer to be informed at check-in.”

“Had a fantastic stay at Punthill Sunshine. The room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The kitchen was well-furnished, which was a nice bonus. “We don't wish to leave a negative review; however, the Expedia listing clearly states: "Entire Place You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party." - this was not the case. St Joseph's by the Sea is basically a no amenities hotel (no TV, no mini fridge, no sofa, a just a small bin by the toilet) - not the romantic getaway we thought we'd booked for Valentine's Day. “Good stay for just overnight, had most of what you need, except toothpaste. Toilet seat was not on properly and didnt even fit the bowl evenly. Otherthan that it was fine overall for just one night. Staff were great, very polite.”

“You need to know that for late night check ins you must go in through the pub. It's a little worn out but not the end of the world. Shower tap handles fall off. The sofa bed mattress is in terrible condition. Everything else is fine for a budget. Air con worked, not too noisy, large enough. ”

“The property was a basic chalet. We stayed there for 5 nights I believe and it was a very busy weekend in Melbourne with the Formula 1 Grand Prix and labour day on Monday which meant the Moomba festival was also on that weekend. The chalet is situated in a campsite. Transport to go to the city was easy enough with a bus just outside the campsite entrance. The chalet was very small but I knew that when I booked it. “Air conditioning was working very well , parkin no problem”

“The floor was dirty, there was excessive dash, and the dash was visible in the air. I was afraid that things would get worse, so I didn't want to turn on the air conditioner. Although most of the staff was friendly, some weren't. It was a passable breakfast.”

“Central location to shops, restaurants and waterfront. Easy walk to North Williamstown train station. Apartment was clean and modern and good communication from staff. Highly recommend and would stay here again. ”
