“Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this place sucks, to put it plainly. It’s loud, the rooms are outdated, our toilet doesn’t flush properly, the bed is like a 4/10. The sheets and pillows are like a dust crusty ones, you’d find in your Grandma’s linen closet. The rooms are air conditioned but the rest of the building is not. If you are disabled or have trouble with stairs, this isn’t the place for you, there isn’t an elevator. It’s not walkable to anything but within 10 minutes to...

“This place was a wonderful surprise! We’d stayed at a couple of not as nice properties the two nights before, and didn’t know what to except here. As son as we pulled up to Spearfish Canyon Lodge, we knew we had lucked out. The setting is gorgeous, and the lodge is very welcoming. It is beautifully decorated, and the ladies at the front desk were so nice. I was going to put that the one negative is that there’s no ice machine, but the folks at the pub are so accommodating in filling up your ice...
