“March 31, 2026 We booked for one night and stayed in the panoramic room! It is absolutely beautiful and a huge room. The room was very clean however the hallways and the room smell of older carpet. The rest of the building without carpet was very fresh.! staff was very attentive and spoke! We didn’t really use any amenities however we were told breakfast buffet was available for $18 and so was a bar!! I will be back for another staycation”

“Plaxe sucks. No microwave no fridge. Room was nasty. Ask to have it cleaned and they said staff off. We cleaned it ourselves. Ants in the room. Was a quick cheep stop for downtown Chicago. Should have stayed in the Laqunti or Hilton next door. My bad was to pick a place with my 3 and 9 year old. Wifes allergies are acting up.for dogs. Now in Niagara Falls and she sick.for the room. Dont go here unless your looking for a cheep place to stay. Buyer beware....”

“Colazione nella norma. Camere pulite anche se in tre giorni non sono mai passati a pulire e sistemare la camera. Neppure cambiato gli asciugamani. Al secondo giorno sono dovuta andare io a chiederli puliti. Per il resto un po’ lontano da Downtown ma è stata una nostra scelta personale perché i prezzi in periferia sono decisamente più bassi”

“Room was clean and pleasant. Front desk staff was wonderful, helpful and genuinely courteous and kind (quick, too) when we needed extra towels and bedding. Breakfast was great, one of the things we have come to really enjoy at Embassy Suites, and plenty of seating in the dining area and the lovely lobby. Pool was pretty cloudy though and the pool bathrooms were not very clean.”

“Hotel comodo se ci si deve muovere in zona, un po' meno per visitare Chicago, visto il traffico intenso che richiede almeno un'ora per arrivare in centro. L'hotel è pulito come la camera, ma il servizio di pulizia camera pare sia a richiesta. Su 5 notti, la camera è stata rifatta 2 volte quando è stato da noi richiesto alla reception. La colazione è standard, yougurt, bagel, waffle. Alcuni piatti caldi a rotazione, tipo le uova. Caffè sempre disponibile. ”

“Don't expect quiet or sleep. Unfortunately, even though the location is great, and the hotel is quite nice, there is a defect with the rooms' doors , causing the doors to slam and then bounce and bang multiple times before closing, making LOUD noises. Do not expect to sleep. Everytime, any room on any floor closes, you hear this loud jarring banging door slam. I was put on a busy floor, with guests constantly coming and going in multiple rooms, which was maddening! Both the front desk and...

“Housekeeping lady on her call out in the hallway super loud on speaker phone at 7:00 am .very disturbing woke up several rooms we all came out to tell her to please keep it down. Then at 10:00 hotel fire alarm went off for about 15 non stop .. all very disturbing for a hotel stay to try rest .”

“The room didn’t appear dirty, but it smelled bad and felt unclean even after housekeeping. I did not feel comfortable staying. I was booked for five nights but left after one, even payed for the 2nd night I didn’t use because I wanted to leave that badly. The front desk was also defensive when I raised these concerns. I booked this hotel partly because Expedia listed it as popular with solo travelers, but as a woman traveling alone, that did not reflect my experience. The environment felt...
