Hotel a Shingletown

“Rooms were clean, looked newly refurbished, as others have mentioned. Complementary breakfast was standard with a few hot items (eggs, bacon, potatoes). The frig in the room held al the items in my cooler and the front desk kindly kept my freezer packs in their freezer overnight. Hop Valley Brewery was a short walk from the parking lot for casual dining, and locally owned (which I prefer over chains). Hampton is owned by Hilton. Turns out I am 25 years late in learning this. Very reasonable...

“Big parking lot and has laundry room and a pool. ”

“Staff was very friendly. The room was clean when we arrived but no one cleaned the room while we were staying there. The gym was not well equipped. Two treadmills were broken or had motor issues. There was no way to clean the machines or weights. No sanitation wipes or spray to clean any of the equipment you used. Pool was usable but clearly not maintained as the temperature was too cold to swim. ”

“The carpet in the hallway was old and the elevator was very slow. There was mold in the sink. The main bed acceptable. The pull out couch was terrible. There were stains on the bedspread, couch, and window shades. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice. We did not use the pool. We will not stay there again. ”

“Everything was great until we tried the tv, they offer streaming but when we tried to cast our programs, there was no internet service. Thus we were unable to watch what we wanted and the number of other channels available was very limited. We were not happy about it.”

“This hotel is great and location is perfect and central. Easy to walk to everything we had planned and great pool for the kids and spa to relax in. ”

“The lobby was clean and updated, and the staff was friendly. However, it was a different experience upon arrival at the rooms. The carpet in the room looked as if it had never been vacuumed or cleaned, and even the TV remote was grimy. ”

“Stopped in Redding for the night and this was the best hotel for our family of 4. We did a late check in and the property was safe, could only be accessed by a key or calling the front desk! The breakfast on the morning was an added plus, and the staff was great! Would definitely stay here again!”
