“We waren enorm welkom en omdat we geen Australisch telefoonnummer hadden werd een code voor ons direct geregeld en daar naast werden alle mogelijkheden aangeboden en konden we op die manier het programma inrichten zoals we wilden. De cabin is erg compleet ingericht en zeker gezellig!”

“A wonderful, clean, quiet, comfortable place. Great area, close to facilities, beach, parks, eateries. A nice licensed establishment across the street. Lovely greeting on check in with great local advice. Really enjoyed. Would highly recommend.”

“This is, hands down, the most welcoming and friendly motel that we have had the pleasure to stay at. It is not modern and trendy. It is clean, well maintained, most comfy bed and the pressure in the shower is excellent. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Give them a call and book it. ”

“Molto più di quello che ci si aspetta in un motel : frigorifero, microonde, stoviglie, kettle con tè, caffè e anche i biscotti. Pulizia perfetta, sul retro delle stanze un prato curato con palme, piante, piscina e BBQ.
Accoglienza gentilissima e tanti consigli su ristoranti e cosa vedere nella cittadina.”

“We stayed here with our work crew and booked 5 rooms. The motel is in a nice and quiet location. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are great and take pride in the motel, which really shows. All our guys were very pleased - so it's definitely a motel I'd highly recommend. When we're in Mackay next we'll be back to Shakespeare Motel for sure. ”

“Staff was friendly and got our key from the lock box since we showed up after hours. On-site free parking, room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The heater didn't work but there is a portable heater in the closet to use. Priced reasonable. Plenty to a shop and eat around the hotel. Nice pool. We would stay here again”
