“We got in at 11pm at night and was not expecting a motel style stay. The person checking us in was pleasant at the beginning but then quickly made a rude remark to my son. He is 4 and exhausted from being in holiday world all afternoon and didnt say hello. The man then made a comment of, "oh, he's never seen a foreigner before." After getting check in taken care of and getting to our room, the floor was completely soaked. From the front carpet to the tile in the bathroom. It was late enough...

“The first room we got was filthy dirty. It had about 6 inches of dust on the furniture and the bathroom toilet had pubic hairs and dried urine all over it. It also had an unpleasnt odor. We asked for another room and it was much better. Even that room has a lot of dust and there was toenails on the floor. I will say that the staff was very helpful in getting us in to the second room. “Rooms were clean, breakfast had sausage, extensive grounds. We did not use the pool (outdoor only) but we did play frisbee in the lawn. One exterior light was broken -- not by our frisbee! -- but the property was well-maintained. Recommend for families.”

“Bar closed early (9pm). Over 1/2 hour wait for dinner seating. Beach closed due to lake water level. Carpet in room needed more vacuum cleaning. Bathroom ceiling water stained. Front desk did not know if there were lake tours. Housekeeping didn’t make up room and ran out of towels. Park view meant parking lot view.
