“Our stay was enchanting. We were generously upgraded to a River View room. Though small, the room was very clean, comfortable, relaxing and attractive. The views of the river, the beach and forested hills were breathtaking. Breakfast in the morning was upgraded continental and enjoyable. Staff was exceptional. The two nights at this beautiful lodge was pure joy!”

“The property was very unique it's a very beautiful house. I think what's important to put in the ad is that there are narrow stairs so if someone's has a disability it could be difficult to get to the room especially carrying luggage. The host were very generous with snacks and drinking water candy. It is one of the first places we've stayed that had a freezer. We really like the accommodations. Very quiet. No TV.”

“Excellent quiet location, away from downtown. The staff was amazing, helpful and very nice from the time we checked in. Michelle was very accommodating and just a wonderful person. Loved the 3 course breakfasts, delicious. Snacks and wine with warm homemade cookies and brownies every evening. We sat by the pool every night and watched the local duck duo enjoy the pool.
