it was a bit out of town .we hired a car .nothing was close .No one reminded us local towns had Marathons .Even Brighton .we couldn’t park .overall an ok stay .room wasn’t cleaned properly.Towels were replaced but bed not made proper properly

There was this Constant humming sound that didn’t make me sleep so well but other than that the hotel was great and good staff.

Ok for a night.
The room was clean the bathroom had some mouldy patches and no bath which was disappointing. The bed was lovely and comfy. There was no fridge or mini bar. Lovely view. Quiet. We only stayed one night.

Would stay again
The view was fantastic. However room was a little small. The bathroom was very modern, equipped with shampoo and conditioner and body soap. But no glasses but the reception staff were quick to bring some to the room when we asked for some. Overall a wonderful stay.

Great Hotel
Everything was perfect, room clean, service from check in to bar and restaurant was great also food very tasty. Only the bed didn’t do my back much good, bit too springy for me unlike our last room when we stayed in the summer.

Nice hotel but showing its age in places (leaking sink, dirty carpets). Exceptional service from front of house, on-site services (restaurant, bar) limited. Good for an overnight but would expect more…even the water in the room has a charge!

VIP treatment
Had a lovely surprise when checking in as we were given VIP for the day. Upgraded room with balcony, complimentary drink and breakfast. Unfortunately, didn't have time to take advantage of the other offers available. Christmas meal with others & food was excellent. Will definitely book again.

Overnight business stay. Room was excellent - spacious, comfortable, modern and quiet. Also has a gym and spa. Would definitely return. Breakfast buffet is particularly good - a cut above other hotels I would say. Hotel is part of the cricket stadium so is a bit isolated so may not be for all. Would require driving to a local restaurant as nothing really walkable from what I could tell - so you need to orientate around the hotel which was fine for the one night stay

Hotel was lovely, staff were amazingly helpful, friendly and efficient. Not a lot in the immediate vicinity but maybe we booked in wrong place for what we wanted! Felt it was quite pricey though but you got what you paid for.

Great hotel for a weekend away.
The stay was really good, our third time here and always a decent hotel. Rooms are fantastic particularly with a balcony and breakfasts are the best you get anywhere. We had room service breakfast one day which was outstanding but the normal buffet breakfast was also very good. We ate in the restaurant in the evening twice, both excellent quality food, and pretty good service though our table wasn’t ready when until ten+ minutes after our booking was due and our drinks were missed that we ordered at the bar while waiting. All in all a great stay, we’d definitely come back again. We did call the spa before we came away but the cheapest option they advised us by phone was £119 each for entry plus a massage. We couldn’t use the spa facilities otherwise which is unusual for a Hilton.

Hotel was good. Property is fairly modern, although they could do with reinvesting and maintaining the property better. Uneven balcony floor and signs of decay in the bathroom. Beefy's is the centre of the hotel and where the buzz is. Could do with more dining options. Hotel reception is quiet. Unable to enter the spa without paying extra, which isn't really pre advertised. The hotel should sort that out or get a tie up with David Lloyd which is next door.
