Baite a Southeast Texas

“We loved the character of the property. It was literally the barn! Bed and shower was clean. However, the cobwebs and spiderwebs were everywhere!!! We had spiders crawling on us at night and in the bed. The windowsills and ceilings need a good cleaning. Set up was real cute and cozy. We literally did nothing! Just rested, relaxed and reconnected. It definitely did for us exactly what we were hoping for.”

“We stayed in a premium cabin overlooking the pond. It was a clean cold room that provided a great escape from the heat. The views were great from the little porch and the room was clean and very accessible. This was a great place to stay in the middle of a bunch small Texas towns and forest trails for nature viewing.”

“Really unique place. Kinda down a sketchy road, but once you get down to the cabin it was pretty nice. Cabin was cozy and modern with a bunch of great light fixtures. Cabin is clean and well kept. However, we had an issue with the lock and the host was pretty slow to respond. Luckily, we resolved it on our own. Also, it would be nice to have a key to the door closest to the parking area not walking around in the dark to the door straight into the bedroom. I will possibly be in the area next year...

“We enjoyed our stay. There was a mix up and we never received a code to open the gate. We arrived early but took quite a while to receive a call back. After we received the call all went smooth. Place is beautiful however did find small dog poop under island on wheels!”

“Very cute little cabin in a nice location. Very ample room outside the cabin for a activities while maintaining privacy. There was great communication from the host before/during/after stay. We enjoyed our brief relaxation and will likely return in the future.”

“Man it was awesome. Felt like home away from home. We literally had like a perfect beach nook. Watching the lake through a thunderstorm when we arrived to waking up to a super beautiful sunrise that followed with an absolute gorgeous day at the lake. The decks/balcony gave way to plenty of lounging in the sun while the hammock let us sway forever in the breeze, listening to the water. Lots of birds tweeting by & this sweet local feline who kept us company while we fished(caught 1 catfish), built...
