“This was our 2nd time staying at the Holly Tree Hotel in Kentallen. The views are incredible, great food and very nice staff. Kentallen was a good home base for the week where we could strike out from to Oban, Fort William, Glencoe, Skye.”

“This has to be one of the best places for its views that I have been to. So quiet and peaceful, sun was out, absolutely breath taking! Lodge was spotless, spacious and would definitely come back. Well worth the money! ”

“Catriona was a lovely host, she gave us plenty of information about the local area and suggestions of things to do. We stayed in the stable which was clean, comfortable, provided everything we could want and had an amazing spiral staircase which really makes the downstairs area. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Blarghour to anyone wanting to unwind, explore or both.”

“The house was the perfect place to spend a few days with the family. Very comfortable and everything provided to make the stay so enjoyable. Location was perfect and waking up to the views of the Loch was very special. Highly recommended!”

“What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. ”

"Because we had a bad experience at the restaurant outside the hotel (the only one working in one-hour driving area) we chose to dine at the hotel. They told us that the chef was alone that night (Saturday) and could take up to one hour to eat something (7:30PM). We had no choice and asked for veggie burgers, but they didn’t have any (again, on Saturday night with tons of tourists around). We ended up eating fries for dinner. To excuse, the staff arranged a small snack before our departure the next day. It was really kind of them but this doesn’t cover the lack of organization for such an important hotel."
