“The hotel meets the expectations: comfortable, easy to access and low budget. Service is good, people are kind and the hotel is clean. The room is large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is just ok. ”

“Lovely grounds, well maintained rooms, very pleasant staff and excellent breakfast, and the main house is a beautiful vintage estate house. I stayed in a separate building with a relaxing common area. It would have been nice to have coffee/tea available in room or in the common area (rather than have the short walk to the office area) to get coffee in the morning, particularly in inclement weather.”

“The breakfast was not diabetic friendly. They stated pet friendly but no place for dog to go to the bathroom. Had to walk dog through garbage . Cigarette butts all over very the place. Beds were terrible. My towels had clumps of black hair on them. Lotion and shampoos left in room were used not new ones. Will not go back”

“I truly enjoyed my stay at the Black Swan. I have been coming to Kripalu Yoga Center for the last 10 years or so. I have stayed at a variety of places, but this has been my favorite and I will stay here again. The hotel is close to Kripalu, Tanglewood and many other locations in the Berkshires. I loved the location on the lake. My room was well-appointed and, as a woman traveling alone, the hotel felt very safe.
