“The room smells, looked nothing like the pictures, and it was not clean nor safe. It was old- like 1950s old. It looked like a hotel you see in the movies when the coroner comes ”

“No cup in bathroom make taking my medication difficult”

“Had a great time. Room was clean and breakfast was a good addition.”

“Okay. This is a one to two star property. Older and dated. However, it was very clean and well maintained! I needed an overnight while attending a two day class in the area. Clean room and a place to rest. This facility hit the mark. Quiet also even though was convenient to the PA turnpike. I would stay here again.”

“Pros; Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean with a frig, microwave, and coffee. Able to park right outside our door. Good rate. Able to bring in our dog which was a priority. Cons: no ice machine, owner had to give me ice out of her own frig in a cup. No restaurants or gas stations or shops nearby. Very off the beaten path.”

“EVERYTHING WAS JUST OK NOTHING SPECIAL.”

“The Hilltop Inn was awful, the place needs condemning, it was in an awful condition, we had a cracked sink, I’ll-fitting blackout drapes, flys in the room, the shower looked dirty and unwelcoming, the ac was loud and vents were filthy with dust. I almost fell over laughing when at check in they asked for a deposit of $100 in case of damage. Honestly my $100 deposit was more than the hotel was worth. Avoid at all costs.”

“I called the property to let them know we would be late due to unforeseen circumstances. I was unaware the office closed but they said it would not be a problem. When we got there the reservation was canceled so I had to pay for another night and was told to call the third party to get a refund on my initial reservation which is proving to be complicated. The room smelled like mildew and the pictures are clearly from when it was first opened bc the rooms are now rundown. The floors are hardwood...
