The rooms themselves are large and have all the facilities required. We prepaid for breakfast and are so glad we did, absolutely delicious. Our only regret is not staying for longer. We cannot wait to return! Worth every penny.”

“We stayed here 16 years ago and it seems the furniture and fixtures & fittings were the same. Our L shape sofa had a stain. Couldn’t work out how to use the gas heater as it kept turning off. Comfortable stay and unbeatable lake side view. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were very useful. ”

“Really enjoyed our time at Sherwood the last few nights. We had a 2 bed apartment next to the restaurant. The rooms are a little older, a bit quaint but very cosy. Beautiful view from the back windows across the lake. Stairs were really creaky and loud, not ideal when having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Parking can get full in the early evening on Friday and Saturday night if there is an event on. Dinner at the Sherwood restaurant was amazing, recommend the Wagyu...
