“Hotel meraviglioso, un tuffo nel passato, un’atmosfera unica... Staff gentilissimo”

“Struttura vecchia, pulizie superficiali. Spifferi dalla finestra, moquette antica, ragnatele, wc credo mai pulito nel vano interno del bordo, incomprensione tra reception e bar, breakfast domenicale 30 minuti per avere un caffè dopo 2 lamentele, parcheggio troppo stretto, vista fiume con le tende dei campeggiatori sul lato opposto.”

“The staff friendly and helpful, drawback was no availability for breakfast or evening meals, some sites still show them doing food. However did recommend a couple of places to visit, found a lovely cafe about 150-200 yards around the corner for breakfast.”

“Accolti con grazia e gentilezza dallo staff della minuscola ed anonima reception, rimaniamo tre notti dormendo in una camera pulita e facendo colazione con buffet sufficientemente fornito. L’unica grave mancanza dell’hotel è un salotto comune dove potersi incontrare con gli amici. Il bar all’interno è aperto solo in determinati orari. Nel complesso hotel gradevole”

“A very quaint place”

“I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

“This is a great airport hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food options were fantastic and delicious.. had a great night sleep before connecting to my flight the following morning. . Covered walkway to terminal 4.”

“Tutto relativamente ok, letto comodo ma cuscino durissimo. Ciò che mi ha fatta non poco innervosire è stato il fatto che il servizio delle pulizie ha bussato alla porta alle 8:30 del mattino, svegliandoci all’improvviso e poi ha aperto la borsa. Questo è inaccettabile. Non so niente di hotel, ma non si dovrebbe comunicare con il servizio delle pulizie per avvertire chi ha fatto già il check out? Specifico: il check-out era alle 12. Assurdo. ”

“La stanza era pronta per 3 ma alla sera rientrati dal giro per Londra e stanchi abbiamo scoperto che il divano letto non era preparato, arrivato il personale si è scoperto che il divano letto era rotto; quindi ci hanno dovuto cambiare la camera e attendere che ci facessero il terzo letto. La sera successiva abbiamo scoperto che la camera non era stata rifatta…la colazione è ottima, le camere e l’ambiente buono ma il servizio da rivedere totalmente nonostante la gentilezza del personale.”
