“Struttura vecchia, pulizie superficiali. Spifferi dalla finestra, moquette antica, ragnatele, wc credo mai pulito nel vano interno del bordo, incomprensione tra reception e bar, breakfast domenicale 30 minuti per avere un caffè dopo 2 lamentele, parcheggio troppo stretto, vista fiume con le tende dei campeggiatori sul lato opposto.”

“I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

“Room was nice and cosy , unfortunately had to leave for work every day to early for breakfast but there were some bits and pieces there if I wanted , plenty of hot water for a bath , bed was nice and comfortable, the only bad thing was someone had been in the room and taken my shampoo and razor the day before I left so could not was my hair or have a shave ”

“Fantastic place to stay on a layover. Staff were AMAZING - let me check in a little early after a long haul red eye which I appreciated immensely!!! Comfortable beds, amazing breakfast and extremely well equipped fitness center and pool. The breakfast buffet is totally worth the 20£. Eggs and pancakes made on the spot. Walking distance to terminal 4, Elizabeth line and Underground. Wonderful hotel and my new go to for layovers at Heathrow.”

“Accolti con grazia e gentilezza dallo staff della minuscola ed anonima reception, rimaniamo tre notti dormendo in una camera pulita e facendo colazione con buffet sufficientemente fornito. L’unica grave mancanza dell’hotel è un salotto comune dove potersi incontrare con gli amici. Il bar all’interno è aperto solo in determinati orari. Nel complesso hotel gradevole”
