Plenty of room for your extended family to spread out and enjoy all that the area has to offer. From beachfront bonfires and skipping stones to scuba diving, this Lake Michigan beachfront home will provide you and your family with hours of entertainment. When you are ready to head out, St. Ignace and the ferry to Mackinaw Island are only 5 miles away. A bit further, but worth the drive are Taquamenon Falls, Oswald Bear Ranch, Pictured Rock National Lakeshore and Sault Ste. Marie. This home is also in the perfect location to stage your snowmobile trip being only a short ride to the trails which connect all of the UP. Come back to a cozy fire and watch the sun set over the blue ice. The perfect way to spend a winter weekend. Please note, this property is currently listed for sale as a vacation rental. Should it sell prior to your reservation date, every effort will be made to transfer the reservation to the new owners. In the unlikely event that this is not possible, a full refund will immediately be granted.

Family Reunion

My family stayed here for 3 days and 4 nights to celebrate my Dad’s 80th year! We had 8 adults and 6 kids ages 13 - 17. The house was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, nice sheets and towels, and the house was very clean. The outdoor space was great - right on the lake with kayaks and plenty of chairs. We had a plumbing issue but the owners were very responsive even with the 4th of July holiday and it was fixed. Everything was just as advertised, one thing to note for families with teens - the bunk room is small. It’s best suited for younger kids as opposed to our tall teen boys. It can also get warm upstairs so you have to make use of the provided fans and keep doors and windows open to keep the temperature comfortable. We had a great time, just what we wanted for our trip. We would highly recommend this property!

Amazing view & great location!

The sunset views from this house are absolutely breath-taking! The house had plenty of space for family to gather as well as space to sit in a corner and read with an amazing view. The location feels quiet and serene, but it’s also 15 minutes from the conveniences of St Ignace and the shuttle to the island. Highly recommend.

Great Vacation

There were 10 people in our party -- 6 adults and 4 kids (7 - 15) Everyone raved about this house. The location, the games (board and video), 2 refrigerators, ice maker, kayaks, barbecue -- this house had everything. Christine gave excellent check-in directions and answered any questions very promptly. We can't wait to return.

July 4th

Had a family reunion at this gorgeous lake property. The house is fabulous for a large group. Enough bedrooms and other space to mingle. Very nice location close enough to the town on one side and a beautiful sandy beach on the other. Nice backyard for kayak launch and to watch sunset. The telescope in a the large window was a nice touch. The house is secluded enough so no traffic noise. Since we had about 17 people a fourth bathroom would have been nice but other than that this house was excellent! The host responded very quickly for all my questions. Overall two thumbs up!

An Amazing Spot

We loved every minute of our time staying here in late June/early July. The house was clean, the lot was big enough to handle our two dogs and 4 kids, and the views were amazing. The location was ideal for us since we wanted to make it our “home base” while traveling a bit through the Upper Peninsula. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Beautiful and serene

The property and amenities were amazing. The eye for detail was impeccable. The house was comfortable, warm and welcoming. There was no detail that was forgotten from the home owners. We loved it and will definitely be back again next time for a longer period of time. Amazing.

An amazing house

The house is way bigger than you expect i’ll tell you that!! Everything was clean and neat. The kayaks were an extra that my family loved to get great pictures right in the sunset. They have many games for kids and adults. They provide you with everything you need.

Perfect place!

This rental was the perfect setting for a large family gathering! From the lake views and sunsets, to the expansive room. Our group of 13 had plenty of space. Very large kitchen, that was well equipped for a large group. We never once said, I wish they jad this or that. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the property offered us privacy. The house was very clean and comfortable. We were all able to have dinner together at the main dining table. The firepit, shuffleboard and game table were a huge hit with our group as well as the kayaks. Only 10 minutes from grocery store and ferry to the island. The host made all instructions clear and was very responsive! We were completely satisfied with our stay. We were celebrating our parents 60th wedding Anniversary and this was an amazing rental. Thank you Christine for making our stay so enjoyable!

St. Ignace Beauty

The property was actually far more beautiful than the pictures suggested. Everything was so well organized. We all enjoyed the signs explaining how things worked, especially the bathrooms and the light switches. The back yard is undersold in the photos. We had plans in Mackinac for a fancy dinner and unanimously decided we would rather be back at the property enjoying the amenities--firepit, kayaks, sound of the waves, and the incredible sunset views. The property manager made the entire stay perfect--responding very quickly to any questions we had. Our only complaint was wishing we had more time at the property! I would definitely consider making this an annual family vacation!

Beautiful, relaxing, vacation home

This property is clean, spacious and directly on Lake Michigan in a quiet neighborhood. Our family had a lovely week and the communication with Christine was great. We have stayed at many properties in the northern MI area and wholeheartedly recommend this one.

The house was awesome!

Our family gets together every year and this trip was up there as far as accommodations. Clean, easy access, and quaint neighborhood. Also owner was easy to communicate with-so thanks! Home was fully stocked with everything you would need and check out process was excellent! (Loved not having to stop beds!) Home was big and beautiful! I would highly recommend staying here as it’s super comfortable. ❤️

FANTASTIC home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The owners were very quick to respond. The fire detectors were beeping and they had someone come immediately and take care of the problem. The mayflies were a an issue. The house exterior and patios and porches were completely covered. We tried to clean them off, but really were not able to use the outdoor area except to move the chairs down into the grass which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting closer to the water and around the fire pit. I don’t know if it is possible to spray for mayflies? Unfortunately, several of us became ill with a severe stomach bug which interrupted our stay. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a fabulous get away. It sits directly on the waterfront. We also like the fact that the house sits back off of the road. It was very relaxing and wonderful place to spend a week.

Fantastic house!

This house has it all! Great layout to accommodate a large group like ours. There are tons of things to do that come with the house - kayaking, cornhole, basketball, old school video games, board games and a great fire pit by the shore. We had a great time!!

10 Stars!

This property deserves 10 stars! Located on a large secluded and quiet lot off a little used road perfect for a walk or a jog, the house offers a panoramic view of the lake with extensive lakefront perfect for launching our kayaks and paddle boards. We set up a number of lawn games and enjoyed a campfire on the expansive lawn. The classy modern interior boasts a large well-appointed kitchen including a much appreciated double oven and extra refrigerator and ice maker in the garage. There was ample seating inside and on the lovely patio for our large family, which including those who stayed at a nearby cottage, totaled 21. The great room was also large with plenty of comfortable seating. Upstairs were two bedroom wings. A cute bunk room, best suited for children under 12, worked well for 3 of our younger grandchildren. Access to the deluxe bathroom on this wing was through the very large master bedroom. The location was perfect for day trips to the Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, and of course, Mackinac Island. The property was impeccably clean and Christine was prompt and helpful in answering our questions. This was a wonderful place for 3 generations to celebrate 55 years of marriage and 2 high school graduates.
