“We stayed for two nights during homecoming for SUNY Canton. It was a girls trip to see our freshman play volleyball and Susan went above and beyond to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. “Beautiful views out back”

“Drinks at the upstairs bar were wonderful. The whole hotel has undergone a huge transformation. We had dinner in the restaurant was also very pleasant. Big shout out to all the staff-from our check in to our happy hour and dinner all were very friendly and accommodating. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. The host was awesome and even called to see if we had any questions before our stay. The only thing that caught us off guard was there is not central AC, it was two window units. Just something to know incase you are like us and like a cool/cold house. Other than that everything was awesome! Beautiful property to enjoy time on the lake! ”

“Vanderkamp was the ideal setting for small family 50th Anniversay celebration. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, we were able to be outside for 2 of our 4 days – hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing, and playing yard games. Off the dock it was very weedy and mucky, but it was fun to watch the fish and snakes. Inside there was ample room to either be together or find quiet places to read or relax. “Everything was great! The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly. There were lots of amenities. The only negative is that the onsite restaurants are very expensive for a family of 8, but thankfully there are so many places nearby and the kitchen was well equipped to do some easy meals. We would definitely stay again.”
