“Although it was an old building you could tell they have beem refurbished it. Everywhere was spotless and the staff were brilliant from start to finish. The room was a little small but had everything you need even a hairdryer. Would love to come back and I'm sure we shall. ”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist had booked guests in a million times and was very efficient. The young waitress who served me was originally from Kent and l recognised her accent from coming from where l used to live. My room 101 was a nice location, full view of the Scotch Corner roundabout and could see the snow and when it was clear so l could get on my way to continue my journey to Scotland. “There was an issue with my original room, nothing major. I was happy for it to be rectified but the check in staff immediately moved me to better room. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was very good, both dinner and breakfast. Would stay here again. ”

“Fabulous room, only slightly let down by empty picture hooks and non working lights. Bed is 2 singles pushed together which made it difficult to cuddle up, but otherwise very comfortable night.”

“Amazingly friendly welcome. Heading up to the room through a fog of cigarette smoke did not bode well, but, happily, the room was immaculate. Service was second to none. Free parking in market square roght outside the hotel was a great bonus. Will definitely return to The Leven. ”
