Hotel a Stanhope

“We arrived to our stay as we had come for a concert in Ames. The hotel is on the very edge of town set back from the interstate. The grounds do not even include trees. 1 person was working the front desk and was helpful with any questions I had. Our room was located up a flight of stairs or just outside an elevator. “This property was so well maintained! All of the staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good and maintained throughout the morning. We will stay there again. Wonderful weekend!”

“The facility was wonderful however the front desk staff was not. We were first told we did not have a room and then had to find someone to help her. Not professional at all! The pool was out of towels I asked the same front desk person for a towel she begrudgingly got one for me but added "we have a towel shortage". Front desk staff in need of customer service training both in behavior and appearance!”

“We were put in a handicapped room and no bath. Water went everywhere. We were also in our room with a broken tv for 3 hrs before staff could help get a new one.”

“The owners were there late at night and early in thehe morning. They were extremely helpful and very friendly.”

“The room was adequate, dated and clean but not a deep clean due to the age. The breakfast nook was the worst I have ever walked into. It was dirty and the appliances were dirty. I got a sealed yougart and left. From what I could tell the quality of the food was very low.”

“The hotel is a bit dated and the room is small, however the room was clean, it was quiet, good breakfast, and the staff was friendly. I will definitely stay here again.”
