“Front desk staff was very accommodating. She was kind to let us check in as soon as rooms were cleaned. We traveled from California and were very sleepy and that made our stay more enjoyable.”

“This hotel presents actual and serious health hazards. As we tried to follow the unhelpful directions to room 230 offered by an impatient clerk, we approached a crumbling cement stairwell where a huge pile of vomit was gathering flies. A foot away, a broken shopping cart filled with garbage, including a hauntingly broken infant carseat, blocked the passage. We stepped around these, following the non-consecutively numbered doors - each covered with layers of greasy dirt and trash underfoot. ...

“It is a pleasure to stay in a place where the proprietors take pride in the property and are genuinely kind and gracious hosts. This is rare.”

“The room was clean, but very outdated. The pool isn’t in use as stated on the site, there wasn’t any ice, no hair dryer.”

“The property is very quaint and very quiet. It is more like an AirBnB or VRBO than a typical hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the only amenity they didn’t have that we could have used is a mini-fridge. The attached restaurant is closed on Tuesdays, but there are restaurants and grocers within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely stay here again.”

“Okay place to spend a night but don’t expect any service. This place uses remote “staff” to run the joint. I called the “desk” around 6:30 pm with a request. Got a call back around noon the next day, when we were well on our way. No soaps, no shower cap. Only plus was an urn of good coffee in the otherwise empty lobby. Not much for $160 or so.”

“The motel is perfect for tourists travelling by car since parking is very easy. Free breakfast is available in the morning. Large rooms and nice staff people. The Motel is 5 minute driving from the town center of North Adam. There is a restaurant nearby, or you need the car to reach the town centre. ”

“Owner very welcoming at check in, polite and pleasant. Room was a bit small, but spotless. Nicely decorated, interesting desk. Bed comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. A/C worked well , as did shower. Continental breakfast was pre-packaged pastries, but there was fresh fruit, cereal and a good selection of items to toast. A lovely little outdoor patio was accessible for breakfast. All in all a nice little motel.”

“The room had all the things we needed Air conditioning worked - bathroom clean & funtioning - fridge & micro(did not need) Ice machine running gangbusters in extreme heat So close to Tanglewood ! Amazing breakfast next door Super close to the highway The man on duty was so nice We did not use the pool, but it was super clear”
