“I was shocked by the potential stench of urine when I walked into my room. The room was filthy. Things were floating in the bathtub. Bathtub would not drain unless I held down the drain. Ceiling tiles had water damage and were sagging. Climate control system sounded like a helicopter. I saw several spiders in the room. I felt dirty staying there. The bed was very uncomfortable, noisy. I woke up with a sore upper back. Sleep in your car before choosing this place! It’s not worth it.”

“Easy to find. Gas station in same parking lot. Room spacious as well as bathroom. All clean. Variety of breakfast options. We will stay there again.”

“Loved the breakfast”

“Did a bed bug check night before and everything was ok. Woke up in the AM, had one crawling on the pillow. My wife had a few bites. Took it up in a zip lock bag to the front office and the attendant didn't want anything to do but get us checked out ASAP. Took the morning to get all of our stuff out onto bags to take home and put into the dryer.”

“Breakfast was picked over during busy time of tulip festival. ”

“We only slept at the hotel (3 nights), but we found the staff to be really friendly and the room to be clean & comfortable. We didn't use the pool - might have if there had been a hot tub. The breakfast was good in that there were hot foods available, but it was not as nice as some free breakfasts, somewhat limited for options and extras. The coffee was not good at all.”

“The shower was not hot, the shower pressure was a trickle, breakfast was bad enough that we found a restaurant the second day (out of eggs, the waffle maker was not maintained, so you couldn't remove a cooked waffle cleanly. There was a false alarm at 4:22 am with no follow up to let guests know that it was a false alarm.”

“The hotel was overall a nice well kept facility and the staff were friendly. In fact they were very helpful in mailing back a book that had got misplaced in the room. The only issue we had was that despite reserving a king bed ten months earlier when we arrived they told us we had to have two queens. No other offer of upgrade, refund or explanation was given. Arriving on the day and expecting your choice of room is foolish, but ten months in advance should be enough to reserve a room for a night...

“We had bugs in the room. Killed 2 large beetle type insects. Heater smelled horribly but we had to run it because it was so cold in The room. We will stay someplace different next time. ”

“Motel vecchio e mal tenuto.Arrivando si entra in un locale che fa da:salotto,portineria, mensa ,,lavanderia,shop ecc.il tutto non molto pulito .Le camere molto basiche sono nel complesso pulite ma un po' puzzolenti.Adiacente al motel una grossa fabbrica.Le foto del sito sono poco veritiere.Non lo consiglio anche se la colazione è sopra la media.”

“Couldn't keep up with coffee. Sunday morning a baseball team was eating breakfast so they pretty much took up the eating area. An hour later the hot items weren't hot/ lukewarm . Had to wait for coffee. NO ELAVATOR. Had to walk up 18 steps with your luggage plus no cart to put luggage on as we were on the second floor. Railings wobbly, not secure.”

“Property was clean as was the room. Breakfast did not have a lot of options, but the coffee was hot and the breakfast area was clean and well stocked with what was offered. Staff was very friendly. ”

“The Everspring Inn continues to be my go-to place to stay when I travel to Oskaloosa. With that said, the staff needs to do a better job keeping the breakfast area fully stocked. The juice dispenser was empty when I ate at 8:30 a.m. and was still empty one hour later.”
