Great location and a nice apartment
The location is fantastic, as it’s a 2-minute walk to King’s Beach. Some nice restaurants and cafes nearby. You can even walk to Caloundra town centre and shops along the beach boardwalk.
The apartment had some lovely Koh cleaning products, but it was not cleaned properly. There were stains on the floor by the fridge, some mould in the bathroom window frame, and the duvets and pillows on the bed were downright disgusting.
I actually mopped the kitchen floor, but wasn’t going to touch the mould. Bring your own dishwashing and laundry liquid if you’re coming for more than 2 nights (small supplies provided). Having a washer and dryer was very convenient.
There are lots of board games if you’re visiting with your family. The TV is tiny (really tiny). The kitchen has basic stuff, but a dish rack and salad bowls would be a welcome addition.
Finally, the check-in and check-out was cumbersome. It would be a lot easier to have a key box just outside the apartment for picking up and leaving the keys.
