Hotel vicino a Talcott Mountain Science Center - Avon

“The breakfast buffet was lovely. Our concern was that all guests are charged an additional $20/day for amenities. We were there on a Monday overnight. The restaurant was closed, the pub was closed, the pool table room was closed, the pool wasn't open yet for the season and there wasn't any special programming. It would be more transparent to just include that $20 in the fee, then to make it seem like you are getting some extra amenities that any other hotel would just have included in the cost”

“Staff was super friendly. 12pm checkout. They accommodated us with baby crib and the room was very spacious. Excellent service and very helpful staff”

“A fun, cute Bed and Breakfast in an adorable town. The Deluxe Suite was well worth the price. The in-room Jacuzzi was amazing. ”

“A beautiful hotel to stay in located in the heart of West Hartford. The helpful staff and easy valet parking make any visit even more enjoyable. The breakfast is always delicious and we look forward to that part of our trip! The rooms are clean, tidy and very comfortable. The well appointed gym is a nice plus. Cannot wait for our next trip!!!!”

“Ho trascorso una settimana a cavallo di Capodanno perchè un mio amico americano abita nei paraggi. L'albergo è in una zona tranquillissima, non certo turistica in sè, non lontana dalla capitale Hartford, ma comunque, come la maggior parte degli Stati Uniti, non è facile girare senza un mezzo di trasporto. Se si ha bisogno di un albergo come punto d'appoggio per poi girare per il Connecticut, è semplicemente ottimo.”

“Clean room and nice and quiet”

“Farmington Inn is quaint and has a mature person feel. The room was older and smelled like a nursing home yet it was clean and served the purpose. There was a small laundry room fire while we were there. Luckily, I was in my room and evacuated me and my dog safely. I questioned if they would have gone in to get my dog if I were not there. That question remains unanswered. I’d stay again. It was close to the interstate and food options and some of the most beautiful walks. ”

“We asked for more towels. We had 3 people in the rook and they only gave us 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. They do not understand English. It should not be that hard to get towels on a 2 night stay The linens are disgusting. They are about 20* years old and no life in them. They need new beds and new linens. Will not stay there again.”

“Clean room. Staff was exceptional - Karissa at check-in; everyone friendly and just above and beyond helpful. The breakfast morning staff also above and beyond. We plan to return every year for our daughter’s dance competition.”

“There was no breakfast! They advertised a hot buffet and didn’t even have a grab and go. False advertising. The staff were good about getting me extra coffee out of a room at night. The room was clean and as advertised. Just no breakfast. ”

“Room was clean Staff was EXCEPTIONAL ! Check in and check out went smoothly Breakfast was prompt and pleasant Remodeling going on at the hotel and surrounding buildings so there was a lot of construction vehicles and dumpsters and noise”

“Staff was great but found it highly curious that the only chair to sit in was a desk chair. There was massive amounts of room in the corner where a chair (and an ottoman) could easily have fit. And the layout of the floors was very confusing. Just finding the hallway to the rooms was like going thru a corn maze during Halloween.”

“We could not get our heat to work and when I asked to check it. They wanted to come in when we were getting up to leave. We checked out that afternoon. Since it was after 11am I was charged for the 2nd night which I understand. Not sure I would stay there next time.”
