“The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around. It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley. ”

There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The woodfire heater made it extra snug, and the setting was absolutely beautiful with rolling views and friendly alpacas, sheep, and chickens just outside. “A great choice of where to stay in Strahan as it is walkable to the Gordon River Cruise port, dining options and right across the Street from the IGA and pharmacy. Comfortable lodgings, very amiable hosts, and a lovely selection of teas. Good bed with an electric under blanket which was very helpful being the dead of winter. The fireplace and heater in the bathroom were added pluses.”
