“Our stay in the ‘Heritage cottage’ was exactly as described—quaint, cozy, and full of charm. The woodfire heater made it extra snug, and the setting was absolutely beautiful with rolling views and friendly alpacas, sheep, and chickens just outside. The welcome breakfast pack was a thoughtful touch, with fresh locally sourced bread, milk, juice, eggs, and bacon. “Absolutely delightful staying here. Most comfortable accommodation we've had in a long time. Heater on and house warm when we arrived. Loved having the wood fire going with the farm views out the windows. Cannot fault the owners who were polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you for having us on your farm!”

“The Gardeners Cottage at Brickendon was everything we could have dreamed of in a restored cottage. Having free access to the estate gardens and grounds whilst there was fantastic and we were lucky enough to meet members of the Archer family as well as their friendly staff. Although it is a working estate we were made very welcome and I cannot rate the whole experience highly enough. So special to see the whole estate being kept as a going concern and in the same family. Wonderful place!”

“The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around. It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley. ”

“Beautifully renovated house with all the amenities you need. Very easy walk into Launceston with spacious off street parking. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely visit again. ”

“A great location for driving to other parts of Launceston and surrounding areas. The apartment was spacious and was as shown in the photos. The provision of some essential kitchen supplies was appreciated. The only down sides were that while the bathroom was recently renovated unfortunately the door could not be fully closed. Kitchen cleaning may need a little more attention as grease covered one of the elements (easily removed by heating the element) on an otherwise clean stove and the cups...

“A great choice of where to stay in Strahan as it is walkable to the Gordon River Cruise port, dining options and right across the Street from the IGA and pharmacy. Comfortable lodgings, very amiable hosts, and a lovely selection of teas. Good bed with an electric under blanket which was very helpful being the dead of winter. The fireplace and heater in the bathroom were added pluses.”
