Hotel a Taylor Ferry

“The room I stayed in wasn’t very clean but I had driven in from Ft Worth for a funeral and was very tired. I made sure the sheets were clean and decided I could stay. The a/c unit made terrible noises. The chair was dirty and something was on the carpet I couldn’t identify. After I started to see a few flying bugs I went to the front desk and he changed my room. The next morning I discovered the new room had no shower curtain, no coffee maker, no blow dryer and neither room had telephones in...

“Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It’s an old motel with outside accessibility, but it seemed to be clean and recently upgraded. New flooring, fresh paint, and furniture in very good shape. There were small imperfections like the light stayed on constantly in the microwave due to a damaged door closure, the toilet seat connectors were broken which made the seat slide, no coffeemaker in the room. It was a fair price!”

“There was a problem with the elevator at one point but other than that it a great experience. The staff were very friendly.”

“The website shows roll-aways available. They are not. The shower had mold. The toilet seat was loose, no hot water in the shower. There was some damage in the hall (open wires hanging from the celling and drywall damage) and there was a fan that ran outside our door all day and night. We asked that it be turned off at night and were told no. The lobby and breakfast area were neat and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly for the most part.”

“Too small, no chair. Could only sit on bed. Very quiet and safe. Way too expensive for a little smoking room. I don’t smoke but the lady said that’s all they had. She was just saving non smoking rooms for people who refuse to stay in a smoking room.”

“Our suite was spacious, clean and accommodating. The only flaw was the pool was very chilly and I had children that couldn’t enjoy it.”

“Everything was amazing except the bed. It was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have experienced. Everything else made up for it, just noting this as it would have made this a 10/10 rating. The breakfast station was run by the most friendly and helpful gentleman. He made our mornings better by being a part of it. The desk staff were all extremely friendly and helpful!”

“My staff was almost excellent. The facility was experiencing some updates and therefore a little construction was going on. However, the plastic sheeting and prior notification of what I would see was appreciated and very helpful. All the staff from the front desk to the servers for breakfast to the housekeeping staff were very friendly. Made the stay pleasant!”

“The first room: AC would not cool the room. It would operate for about 2-3 minutes and then cycle off for ~ 10 minutes, while the room was in the 80s and the unit was set for 73 (would not go lower). Bathroom had long hairs in the shower and sink. And...there were bed bugs. Mattress had blood stains and obvious tracks from other infestations. Second room: Bathroom had large cracked tiles, long term stained and worn down bath tub / sink. But new matresses! And...AC that did the same thing as...

“Rooms where clean they have nice pool area. My only complaint was the breakfast selection was not very good. I would stay there again.”
