Hotel a Stilwell

“The property WILL NOT be honest and every part of our stay was horrible. Stayed there in the past but now the rooms stink not updated and breakfast was not there, dried egg crumbs in pan at 7am rechecked at 8am and same situation not touched, people sleeping on lobby floor and lobby couches. Then to top it off wrong room was booked (king) and tried switching to a two queen and was only offered a two double for extra $90 when they are only $10 difference to book. “We were pleasantly surprised. Seems to have been recently renovated. Nice people and a good spot to stop, right off the highway. There is a diner next door and a casino. I do wish however that they didn’t place a couple of guys with a noisy dog right next to us when there were several empty rooms. Shower pressure was great! I would have appreciated a bit more substantial towels however. ”

“Do not stay here. The place is in need of a complete remodel or torn down and started over. Carpet was frayed and dirty, furniture all chipped & worn. Bedspread had cigarette burn holes in it. Staff was not friendly or helpful. If we had not been completely exhausted from traveling I would have demanded my money back & gone elsewhere.”

“Everything really good at this hotel, except the bed. Since all we used the hotel for was an overnight stay on our hitting the road again, getting a good nights sleep was important. Mattress was very uncomfortable and might have been a foam because we were sweating on the bottom, chilly on the top. We had to turn constantly through the night, due to heat issue and because overall the mattress was not comfortable. We woke tired, and our body out of sorts. “The hotel itself was very clean inside and decent. The problems really started with the outside there were broken glass beer bottles surrounding the property on their sidewalks outside of their pool area. The person who checked me in was great. One of the main issues was a constant banging from the floor above me and I do not believe it was another guest but something related to the elevator system or anything else with the property but it made it so bad that you couldn't sleep. “The outside of the place looks awful with the window screens all cut up and the ac units bent up. The room was awful. The arm chair had a huge stain and the fabric was shredded up. The floor was sticky. It was just a very run down property. They shouldn’t be able to show pictures like they do bc the pictures aren’t correct. “Clean room, housekeeping does great, Kelly at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful ”

“One of the elevators was broken. The pool was closed. Three of the 4 ice machines I tried, did not work. My toilet was clogged and I hadn’t even used it yet!! And there were extra charges on my card. I was not emailed any kind of receipt. I couldn’t use half the hotel services, but still had to pay full price!! Horrible stay. ”
