“Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Plenty of parking, beautiful pool space, and the Starbucks was the icing on the cake! I would stay again! The bartender made a great margarita!”

“Pool was dirty. Jacuzzi was yellow and was being painted while people were in the pool. No wet paint sign. Beach/pool chairs were ripped and there were only 4. No pool towels stocked and when I asked reception for some, they could only provide 1. They gave us the wrong room which didn't even fit all my guests. “Breakfast was advertised but there was just coffee. Staff claimed there were muffins but I never saw any muffins. I think to save money, they don’t supply the rooms with anything. No dishes, silverware, shampoo etc. you have to ask. They apologized for not having a full suite of dishes to provide, I guess they don’t want to drive the 400 yards to Walmart to keep there supplies stocked. Staff is never at front desk. “The structure has been completely renovated since my last visit, improving both the general appearance and the services. The numerous bars operating within the structure were wonderful and very high quality, despite having a room that overlooked the swimming pool where music entertained guests, the room was pleasantly soundproofed and the light background music did not disturb at all. The bar inside my room was really great!!!”

“We loved our stay at the Hyatt La Jolla. About a 18 min drive from the main shops and restaurants area, great pool and amenities, restaurant and cafe on site were nice to have when travelling with small kids. The property is well maintained. Rooms are comfortable, could be a bit updated and cleaner but the beds and bedding were clean and comfortable.
