“I absolutely loved this hotel. It was very clean. Most hotels at this age/price tend to have some mold around the outside corners of the shower by the bathroom door. None of that here. Everything felt very clean in the room as well as the breakfast area. The sweet woman who worked in the breakfast area was so very kind and helpful! “It was perfect for what we needed. A reasonably priced no frills family friendly establishment close to everything.”

“The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

Perhaps some additional training for those two as the only answers or resolutions offered were to wait and talk to their manager the next morning. Also, the hotel was overbooked - we paid for a king plus sofa bed and they put us in a hearing impaired room that was incredibly dirty - there was sticky residue on the nightstand, it looked as though the room was thrown together last minute with the oldest furniture in...

“Stopped at front desk to get coffee to make in room. They said they didn’t have any. Asked for noon check out when we had to go to lobby to get coffee since we had none in our room and were told no. Then found out a few other folks in our group were given a noon check out. Gal at desk was not at all friendly nor helpful. Drove by later that evening and literally no cars on lot so not like folks were trying to check in. Not very accommodating.”

“The property was very clean . Checking in and out was simple and easy. It’s an older property but again very well taken care of. We didn’t use the outside pool, or fitness center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable for the time we stayed there. What was really nice was that it’s so close the the main strip.”
