Hotel a Thrussington

“Rooms very beaten down, marks on walls, paint peeling off bathroom door. I understand you get what you pay for as it was cheap but the rooms could have been cleaner, there was loads of spider webs above windows and all on ceiling. Had 2 power cuts during the night. At least bed was comfortable ”

Previously I've had water in the room but not this time. Didn't look like the tea, coffee, etc. had been topped up”

“For the price we paid the hotel was absolutely fine. Lovely leisure facilities, nice biscuits with the tea and coffee tray. Lift’s available. Bar and restaurant and food were good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Sadly it’s all a bit tired. Cracks in plaster around the building, dark decor just in need of TLC but as I said before, this was reflected in a very good price. I would definitely book here again.”

“Nice hotel in quiet location with lovely outside area. One member of hotel staff unhelpful when we advised that the WiFi was unavailable. Good evening meal, breakfast offered a reasonable choice but cooked option wasn’t great. Good hotel for the money though.”

While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was obvious the room was not clean, but since I needed to rest, I decided to mention it at the reception before leaving. “A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you.”
