“We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start.
The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful.
We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service.
The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...

“We chose this hotel both as a stop off break on our way to Cornwall and a place where we could meet up with friends we had not seen for a year.
We were pleasantly surprised by both the welcome and the hotel itself. Whilst Stroud itself is a bit of a mix this hotel is, in my opinion, the jewel in the crown. The refurbishment is top notch. The decor is very stylish and tasteful, up to date in every way.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice from continental to cooked. Staff could not do...
