Just a mile away lies Tintagel, famed for its legendary connections to King Arthur and its dramatic castle ruins perched on the cliffs. Visit Port Isaac (7 miles), to see where the famous Doc Martin show was filmed, or the historic Boscastle Harbour and St Nectans Glen and Waterfall, less than 5 miles away. For those seeking adventure further afield, Rock and Polzeath (14 miles) is well worth a visit, and the fabulous foodie capital of Padstow is only 20 miles away (or less if you catch the ferry from Rock). This wonderful character cottage invites you in with a warm and welcoming open plan living space with a light dining area offering views across the valley - leading through to a comfortable seating area to gather and unwind in. There is an additional separate living/tv room to the left to relax in and watch a family film together. You will also find a handy shower room with WC on this level. The kitchen is further on and is practical and well equipped for a meal to be whipped up with ease. Head upstairs to find the bright and coastal themed bedrooms; one king-size, one double room with en suite shower and WC, and one twin room with two single beds and another en-suite shower room to keep everyone happy after a day out exploring the coast.
French doors open onto the garden with steps leading to various pretty nooks on the different tiers. The attractive raised decking and patio has a corner sofa and sun loungers to sprawl out on and relax. Marvel at the distant sea views and stunning sunsets as you plan your next day's adventure and enjoy a family BBQ.
