“The hotel is "Out in the country" which is OK with me. It's a 3 story hotel that appeared to be near max occupancy all 3 nights we stayed there. “This is a small, independently owned hotel. The room was small but pretty clean. It was cleaner than other bigger hotels I've stayed in. “Gagging amount of air freshener to try covering other odors. Swimming pool was closed for cleaning. Most of electric outlets in room did not work. No hot water in morning, even though I ran water a long time. Carpet was filthy, and gooey to walk on. TV remote and other things were sticky. Online ad said TV had Closed Captioning, but that only sometimes worked. A.C. was so noisy the vibrations shook both beds. Had to ask for washcloth and hand towel. Very dim light at sink and makeup mirror....
