We pride ourselves in providing a wonderful space for you and your family to relax and create incredible memories in. We honestly enjoy welcoming respectful, happy, positive and accountable guests into our home. We hope you understand how much effort and trust comes along with sharing our home and thank you in advance for treating our home like your own and not disrupting ours by leaving it extremely messy upon your departure or, even worse, damaging something that may require repairs and cause a cancellation for the next guest. We want you to have a memorable and fun stay that you are excited to come back to and tell your friends about.
Our guidelines are as follows:
Noise Ordinance:
Please bring outside noise levels down at 10pm.
NO PETS, OWNERS ARE ALLERGIC
If you have a service or emotional support animal, these are the rules that pertain to this scenario:
Any violation of this No Pets policy for animals that don`t adhere to the rules below and for owners that don`t answer the following questions, thus deeming the animals as pets and not service/emotional animals, will result in an immediate reservation cancellation and a $500 fine.
We apply strict guidelines to service and emotional animals brought into our home. Below are some rules that are in place so that the experience of the owners and guests that stay after you will be enjoyable and not severely diminished by sneezing, coughing and watering eyes from allergies:
* The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by a Service/Emotional Animal.
* You and your Service Animal/ESA will be asked to leave if we discover misrepresentation of a pet as a Service Animal. We will report fraudulent claims of Service Animals to government authorities and will evict the guest(s) without further notice in such cases. If this occurs, there will be no right to a refund.
* We will ask you to remove your Service Animal/ESA if the animal is out of control and the animal’s handler does not take effective action to control it or if the animal is not housebroken.
* Please walk your Service Animal/ESA for bathroom needs. Indoor piddle pads are NOT allowed.
* Please clean up defecations immediately. Bring your own baggies and dispose in the trash can.
* Service Animals/ESAs may not be on furniture (sofa, chairs, bed) or counters.
Please provide the following information ahead of your stay:
* Full name of guest that requires service/emotional animal?
* An advanced copy of your Service/ Emotional Animal rabies vaccine (current through your stay). You may scan or post a picture in the messaging portion of the app.
Airbnb also allows me to ask these 2 questions of the animal:
Is the assistance animal required because of a disability?
What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?
We also do not allow pets to be left unattended in our cabin.
The Winter Season in Tuolumne County typically runs from December-March. During this time you may experience power outages that may impact your stay. We have a whole-home generator that will automatically turn on in the case of an outage so you shouldn`t experience any disruptions. Please consider purchasing travel insurance to cover these unforeseen circumstances. Winter storms are an occurrence that can also result in internet WIFI outages. We are not able to issue refunds, discounts for these interruptions along with for late cancellations/early check-out as these incidents are beyond our control.
* We do not offer discounts or refunds for early departures after check-in
Please don`t turn the heat all the way up and open up all of the doors and windows. If you leave for the day, please don`t leave the heat running - we have central heating that will easily heat up the cabin within 20 minutes when you get back to the cabin - the cost of your stay doesn`t include a massive PG&E bill as a result of your stay.
Hot Tub:
Will be ready for you and all you`ll need to do is adjust the temperature up and down with the arrows, turn the light or pumps off or on. When not in use please lower temperature to 95 degrees and keep covered. For 1 week stays, please request spa services as needed.
Grill:
The grill is a standard grill that uses propane - if you run out of propane, 7-11 is a 5 minute drive and can be quickly swapped out for a full tank. Note: We have no issues with wild animals.
