“Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. “The room was fine, there were a few little things that I noticed that could’ve done with a proper clean. The bed was awful. We stayed three nights and by the third both of us were nearly crippled.
The breakfast buffet was a tad disappointing, though the staff there were fantastic.
There was issues with hot water and we ended up with barely warm water for the last night and morning showers.
Reception staff were super friendly upon check in and out.
Location is good too, tucked away like it...

“Staff were very welcoming and upgraded us to a larger apartment. We only stayed one night but the kids were very appreciative not to all be in 1 room. The apartment was spacious, clean & quiet. There was plenty of parking and all the plants & birds made it feel homely.”

“Favourite holiday spot. Staff were excellent this trip as my husband had a heart operation and staff were very mindful and assisted us move our luggage etc Unlike the big Mantra hotel on the border of NSW and QLD.
