Hotel a Valley Chapel

“A little off the beaten path but a nice lobby, breakfast area, back sitting area and pool. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great besides Fox News being on the tv. Room was spacious but cozy and clean. Definitely worth staying here and visiting adorable downtown Buckhannon. ”

“Easy parking but not secure. Old Inn, probably special in its day but tired and needs overhaul. Not worthy of an 8 grading”

“The shower floor is slick as axel grease. Took a bad fall! Need to put down some strips or something to break it up!”

“Nice beds, quiet a/c unit. Too much old furniture and carpet. Bathroom is very, very small with 2 large pieces of furniture outside the bathroom door that can’t open all the way. Makes it hard for a bigger person. High perfume smell throughout the hotel. They allow pets in any room if you have allergies. ”

“We were only there for 8 hours but the staff were very friendly and the room was clean.”

“The bed was a little hard but the room was clean with plenty of space. The staff was friendly and helpful with the exception of the housekeepers that were gathered in the hall using fowl language. Breakfast was a little disappointing ”

“Room was clean and comfortable. My main problem with the property is that it seemed they had long term guests actually living there. I didn’t feel completely safe. ”

“The property was beautiful but the rooms could use a little TLC. We didn't have hot water so showers were a bit uncomfortable. Tile grout in the bathroom was very old and dirty. Overall the stay was nice but not really worth the price ”
