Private room for budget guests

This small room offers basic amenities only for easygoing, budget-conscious travellers. The house is older, with an old carpet that is easily dusty, a shared washroom that shows signs of wear, and an unfinished hallway. Due to other guests, hygiene may not be 100% perfect. This accommodation is not recommended for couples seeking a romantic getaway. It is, however, more comfortable than staying in a hostel and sharing your room with others. great time at this comfortable place to stay.

The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean, and the view of the city from it was splendid. The breakfast spread was also quite tasty. I will certainly return during my next visit!

Kind and good communication from hosts. Location on a bus route and easily access skytrain. Ready when I arrived. Indeed a place to lay my head for an economic price.

This place should be not be listed as a rental due to obvious health and hygiene concerns… they have large sinks inside the downstairs door that are completely black and smell like mold - then your sleeping quarters is 5 feet away. There was a heavy floral disinfectant odor when I opened the room door - which made me feel sick after seeing the sinks. I have severe allergies to flowers and harsh chemical smells. I couldn’t stay in this place even if I wanted too. The fact they have to spray the room heavily - rather than keep it clean - gives me the feeling there are serious health issues w this place. Owner is not willing to provide refund - despite I never stayed on the premise and called VRBO shortly after incident to complain. Places like this make me distrust VRBO and similar organizations because little has been to rectify the situation. Proper vetting of rental units is also a concern - as you can’t really trust the listing descriptions to be accurate. Highly disappointed and a waste of money.

The parking is ample and in a great location. It's in a quiet neighborhood and had a comfortable bed. Nice and responsive hosts. The bathroom needs a new shower stall and some plumbing adjustments. The toilet needs a new wax seal on the base to keep it still. More towels for the guests including wash cloths, hand towels and toiletries would be helpful. There is some noise upstairs but not too disturbing.
