You basically have the beach to yourself unlike up the road in Clearwater beach where you can't turn around without running into someone. “Ok there is a lot this resort does right but can improve on some things. The activities for the kids are endless! Our group from 3-12 loved the waterslide on the beach & pool with the DJ/kids games was a lot of fun. The beach is beautiful and it perfect for young kids!! One of the biggest downsides is the elevators. They take forever to come and are often packed when you get one. I think this comes from the resort being older and not having any service elevators so the employees have to use the...

““I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The room was extremely dirty—the bed was unclean, and the bathroom was broken. “The property was very nice, well appointed, very clean .. with a great rooftop bar and pool, and an attached restaurant on ground level which was great as well .. my only complaint was that you couldn’t ask for your room to be made up until you were there 3 days , even though at check-in you were told that cleaning the room was “ upon request”. The bed should be able to be made and bathroom tidied up with fresh towels should be accommodated considering the price of the stay .”

“We chose the hotel based on the pictures on Expedia. We were greatly disappointed that aside from the room, which was comfortable, there was construction all over the place. The pool area was closed and no seating in the lobby. None of this was mentioned in the Expedia advertisement. We were greatly disappointed. We flew down from New Jersey to enjoy the advertised amenities.”
