Guest house a Walterboro - St. George

“The front desk staff in the late evening was fine but not particularly friendly, it was a stark contrast to the front desk staff in the AM who was lovely. The AC/heat worked well in the room but that is where the positives end. The room was so incredibly dirty. The bed linens were all stained - every single one -pillow cases, bed spread, sheets. The same applied to the towels and the shower mat. The safety latch on the door was hanging on by a thread. The neglect of the property was clear...

“The property is very dated and showing signs of needed repair and updating”

“L’endroit était propre. Le décor désuet. Le stationnement facilement accessible.”

“Excellent customer service, clean rooms, I would definitely recommend Travel Lodge of Orangeburg to associates, family or friends.”

“I took a smoking room they were kind enough to let me go in it before I took it, of course you could tell it’s a smokers room but I enjoy smoking so I took it, it was very tolerable for me and the bed was clean and no bed bugs were there, I’d stay again.”

“Found roaches crawling on bed after 10 mins of being there. Left immediately.”

“The a/c and heat unit was noisy. I noticed a couple of bugs in the bathroom. Not much of a complimentary continental breakfast.”

“Could not describe the beauty this amazing place has to offer. I highly suggest using this lil peice of solitude and peace as a pre stop before heading on to tybee island . Better stay than any hotel in the Walterboro SC area.”
