“For a stay in Beaufort, SC, for my money, the Rhett House Inn cannot be beat. It is located in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance of almost everything. We parked our car on Friday afternoon and didn't see it again until we checked out on Sunday. In between, we walked to various sites of interest and restaurants throughout the day. “This was a very good hotel while stopping off for a night while driving 95. Stop, sleep, shower, eat breakfast then hit the road. The room had great AC. My room was very clean and the front desk made sure I had a parking spot right in front of my hotel door. I arrived at 10pm and left by 7am. ”

Having stayed there once previously, we remembered how enamored we were with the quaint downtown and decided to look for accommodations there. Through our research, we finally settled on 607 Bay Inn and I'm glad we did. “The shower dripped the room smelt like mildew and had a water damage spot around fire sprinkler refrigerator was barely cold pool was freezing and whrilpool was barely as warm as a baby's bath but the desk staff were wonderful very helpful always greeted us with a smile she was the best part of your hotel also no ice in hotel ”

“Motel is maintained neatly. Good room with AC that is not noisy..I slept like a baby. The owner is polite and was extremely helpful when I needed help and even refused my tips to him. I still tipped to the cleaning ladies ! Will definitely save that motel for a sleep over when we travel i95. ”
